Celebrating the International Day against Homophobia and Transphobia today May 17th , we are planning a fundraiser next Thursday May 24th 2012. With support from Raynbow and the Lebanese LGBT Media Monitor, and in collaboration with TAG events, we are hoping to raise some funds to support our street awareness campaign. We are dreaming big, and you might one day see a billboard saying something like:
- “مش غلط تكون مثلي” (It is OK to be gay)
- “مش غلط تكوني مثلية” (It is OK to be lesbian)
If we raise enough money, this day might be soon. We can not do this without you.
For a donation of $20 you will get admission to the club at 11 PM and 2 free drinks (age 18+). Your ticket number will be entered in a draw with a chance to win $150 gift voucher donated by Ranbow store. The winning number will be announced on May 25th on the Lebanese LGBT Media Monitor.
We are honoured to present a photo installation from 9 to 11 PM by researcher Samir Khoury and photographer James Ian Morgan. “OUT: Portraits of a proud community” coming all the way from Montreal, Canada.
Come join us for a night of solidarity and fun.
